I’ve been such a lucky girl lately! Back in February I played Emily’s Name Game, and my theoretical girl’s name, Astrid Aurelia Winterbloom, got an honorable mention. And a prize! Which just arrived in the mail:

The utterly exciting Mailorder 6 also arrived today.
I can’t wait to try out the rag doll pattern, and find somewhere to prominently display my mailorder member badge. And the cloud cookies? Oh my. Though I’d maybe like to make them with lemon instead of orange. I’d best get some blanched almonds next time I go to the market.
A surprise also came in the mail from very dear Camilla– two yards of my favorite Balance Bird fabric! How I got such a lovely friend, I don’t know!
Oh! I also heard from the lovely Meredith at Adorn that I was one of the winners of their Flickr group giveaway and will be receiving a copy of The Apron Book, which I’ve been pining for since it came out! Can’t wait.
