You'll be able to get the presser foot snug up to the teeth. You'll also be able to get the waist band just right on the zipper and avoid the gap there when the zip is too short. I always use a longer zipper for this. Your pants look good. I'm stil (after 30 years) looking for the perfect fit in them. But seriously I doubt anyone would really notice, it just depends how you feel about wearing them. I'm really fussy about what I wear (I'm always paranoid that things look too short on me!). I was thinking about buying the sew u book, what do you think? worth the money? Oh and I found an online shop in the UK called getknitted that sells cascade fixation. I'm going to wait until they get more in stock (I need 14 balls eek) and then get some! I'm feeling a lot better then I did but I'm still a bit crabby.
