*Update:
Thank you, thank you to everyone who came out and was so enthusiastic and wonderful. Camilla is a total rockstar who used a sewing machine for the very first time to help me out! Keep an eye on her blog for what is sure to be a beautifully edited round-up of the best indie design at the Bazaar Bizarre. My wonderful husband was there to cheer me on and carry my silly-heavy sewing machine away for me. I was thrilled to see Michelle and Bethany in real life (you guys are awesome), and so happy to meet each of you who came, listened, volunteered, asked questions and generally made something nerve-wracking into something really fun. I hope you a little something out of it, an I promise the pattern and full photo tutorial will be up here lickety split!
Well, for the Bias Tape Tote demo anyway. Today you can learn to make this:

Here:
Maker Faire
San Mateo Fairgrounds
Craft Area 1
12:00 pm
I hope to see you there! After that, I’ll be attending Bonnie’s awesome Yoda Doll workshop at 12:45, then the Lotta Simple Sewing presentation at 2:00 and Susan’s jewelry demoat 3:00. I’m also excited about Jamie’s needle felting demoat 2:15– so much to do all in a day! Somehow I’ll make time for serious Bazaar Bizarre browsing too…
If you can’t make it, I’ll miss you, but don’t fret. I’ll be posting up a PDF of the bag pattern (assuming I can figure out how to do that) and a tutorial on how to make it on Mondayish.
