what i wouldn’t do for one of those muffins! it’s grey and rainy here today, my feet are wet, i have a space heater on because the building is cold, and i think a muffin like that could just about dry me off and warm me up.

I know whatcha mean about the neighbor thing. I lived in NYC for 2 years and I felt the same way!

Be careful of what you wish for. We might just have to hand-deliver the pincushion and bring some muffins, too. Even in suburbia it’s hard to find just the right friend, close enough and available. The stars definitely need to align.

Those muffins look absolutely stunning! I might try and make some next time I bake.

Do you go to any Mummy groups? I was horrendously lonely when I had my eldest son because I was really very young and none of my friends were at that stage in their lives. Most of the Mummy crowd wrote me off as a ‘daft wee lassie’ until I found a really nice group at my local church.
