Oh! I thought they were so perfect and so like my Anne and Gilbert. What did you think was not right?

I just bought that artisan bread book myself and am glad to see it is working out for you. I must admit, I haven’t cracked it open, what with my nearly 11 week old baby getting into my baking time. Go figure!

And I agree with you on the Anne of Green Gables casting. Who do you think would be better in the lead. I haven’t decided yet myself.

Miscast?? Noooo!!!! That’s how I got into the books…because the feel of the miniseries was so beautiful, and when I read the books, I found they had captured it so perfectly! (The miniseries captured the book, not the other way around.) And whenever I talk about it with anyone else, they all say the same thing..that it was perfect!

Tell you what was a travesty, though…that last, tacked on one, where they were in the war, and so totally, completely changed the story…I mean, HECK..that was when WALTER died..not when they hadn’t even gotten married!! Argh!
